Namibia 2016 – I had my first DSLR, a Nikon D750 and was keen to learn how to make best use of it. I chose Namibia as a designation, because I had heard and read about, but never visited it. I can say that I have seen many countries in my time, but Namibia exceeded any expectations. The dramatically and rapidly changing Landscapes, the overwhelming scenery paired with the most intense contrasts of light and shade, and the depth and shades of colour made this an experience, I had to repeat, and even now, I am almost certain that I will go again.
A suggestion for anyone who’s appetite has been wetted by some of the images, be careful to select a photo-tour with group not larger than about 6 [ more, like 12 will fit into a bus which mostly is a converted 4wd truck, not necessarily appealing], they would fit into two vehicles for travel and make even more sure that you pick the most competent organiser, check their website for selection of sites and quality of images, that will tell you a lot what you can expect.
